Please come visit us for worship. Grace is located on the corner of Avenue E and McCullough in San Antonio, TX. The entrance to our parking lot is on McCullough Ave and parking is free for anyone attending church on Sunday morning. Worship starts at 10:00 AM and Sunday school at 11:00 AM. Located in downtown San Antonio near hotels, attractions and reception venues, our beautiful sanctuary seats up to 600 guests. For a more intimate wedding our newly renovated chapel seats 70 guests comfortably.
Grace Lutheran Church relies on the generosity of our parishioners, friends, and benefactors for its general operations as well as its special ministries and programs. Generosity is the way we show our gratitude for the gifts we have been given by God and honors our commitment to do God’s work.
Trunk or Treat at Grace is getting an update this year. No more hot asphalt in the parking lot: we're bringing it inside the sanctuary.
Sunday, October 25, right after worship (around 11:00 am), kids are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and walk the center aisle, collecting treats from members stationed in the pews. It takes about twenty minutes, and it's one of the most fun mornings of the fall.
Every creature is part of God's good creation, and once a year we say so out loud. Join us Sunday, October 4 for the Blessing of the Pets, held near the Feast of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals.
Bring your dog, cat, rabbit, bird, or whoever shares your home. Pets should be on a leash or in a carrier. If your companion doesn't travel well, a photo works just fine and will be blessed all the same.
After the blessing, stay for lunch at the Cove. It's a relaxed chance to meet each other's animals and each other.
